    “Remember, remember, the fifth of
    November, the gunpowder treason and
    plot.”

    aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh

  2. And remember the 31st of January, when Fawkes was executed. So much so for the 5th of November! 😛

  3. personally i have no vendetta against any such outrageous and ill-tempered reproaches upon my rememberances

also, on january 31st the portuguese republican revolution broke out in Porto (1910)

all native americans were ordered to move into reservations

the corn lawas abolished the UK–thereby making it illegal to eat popcorn between the hours of 19:00-19:02 GMT

3M made Scotch tape, which became biggest outrage across all of scotland

the first McDonalds openned in russia

also, on the 31st also, Justin Timberlake, Minnie Driver, Fat Mike, and Nolan Ryan (Baseball pitcher) were all born of separate mothers and years.

these births should also not forget us that some great men were also deaded on that date. men of such caliber as General Arthur Ernest Percivallllllllll, or Thomas Grey, 2nd Earl of Stamford, or that whacky italian jesuit Claudio Aquaviva (my newly found favorite surname)

on the religious front, it should be noted that this day became known as St. John Bosco’s day, who is the patron saint of apprentices, editors, publishers, biggots, liars, cheats, and also, boardwalk flower vendors.

  4. There’s nothing like Wikipedia, hey?!

Ill-tempered? No, dude(tte)! It’s just that the gunpowder plot was utterly quashed that 31st of Jan. If not before, as it all come to nothing because some of the plotters informed some of the would-be victims. What a shame, for such a Valiant shambles! And what lack of resolve for such calendric occasion!

  5. i suppose i may have been using such words for dramatic effect.

no less, i am now more than ever resolved that the 31st of January is indeed a real calendric calendary observation for all that should be deemed valiant and unreproachful, including the wikipedia, which may have been thought of on a 31st of January.

and for theatrics all of those who stand against and refuse to observe this day by avoiding to, well, not, mmm, {not quite certain as to how one could avoid a day}, well, should be hung just like those cowardly plotters who sabotaged their own vile plan by trying to protect innocent people… or something

  6. nice one! 🙂 it would seem we agree after all, in this most random of meeting places, oh valiant defender!

The Valiant Defenders of the 31st of January [that’s all 31st of all Januaries, even before they existed] hereby decree this puny corner of the web as sanctuary.

hmmm.. Valiant Defenders… V.D….. not sure about that.
